 THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE BIBLE AND NEW GEM MATERIALS WILL BE USED AS OUR "reference text" to deepen our appreciation and strengthening the three pillars on which we are laying the foundation of our discipleship: Knowing and Living the Sacred Scriptures,  Knowing and Living the Bible as the Church teaches us (CCC), and Living our Catholic Faith: Becoming saints through Prayer and the Sacraments. You will have the opportunity to grow, understand, integrate, and share the Catholic faith in a new and transformative way. 

With a focus on the study of Scripture in the Bible, enhancing our knowledge of scripture with the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and new GEM materials in the form of a flipbook to help guide us in daily prayer.
 

• The subject matter will be taken from the Catechism. You will have a digestible morsel each day, 5 or six paragraph numbers from the Catechism, for prayer and reflection. I will offer my reflection on the numbers and integrate it with Scripture and Catholic Spirituality.

 

• We will meet via Zoom. You will receive the content for daily prayer in the form of a flipbook.

 

• As with the process we follow in our other formation manuals, there will be three topics of focus:
  • Session One: The Profession of Faith
  • Session Two: The Celebration of the Christian Mystery
  • Session Three: Life in Christ and Christian Prayer
  • Session Four: Christian Prayer
